My dog, DJ, loves spending time at their house whenever I go to work. I know and feel that he is safe there, and well taken care of. This gives me a good feeling whilst being at work. DJ feels so much at home there that he doesn’t want to go home at the end of the day.
The love these men have for their dogs is a beautiful thing to witness. They put a lot of time and effort in them and make sure that they are living a happy and healthy life.

I have known Robert and Peter for over 4 years. I would like to give my recommendation and praise to Robert.
There is no question of Robert's trustworthiest and his love and devotion to all dogs. He is an exceptional caretaker and trainer of both large and small dogs. He is not only an exceptional caretaker and trainer but knowledgeable, reliable, efficient and devoted always willing to share any advice, guidance, and support.
They demonstrate enormous love and compassion to all who cross their paths.
Robert walked me from A to Z once he learned I’m thinking about getting my dog, also a Samoyed. I couldn’t have done it without him, his knowledge, and amazing heart.

Whilst looking for someone to look after my rescue dog Harrie - who’s previously had bad experiences with people and is therefore very reluctant with new people - someone advised me to contact Robert.
I had seen Robert walk several dogs before and immediately got the impression he was a dog lover with great knowledge on their behaviour. Moreover, Robert is very involved in the neighbourhood and connects dog owners by means of a Whatsapp group with almost 250 people. You could really say he’s an institute around here, while people tend to go to him for advise or questions on dog-related matters.
What started as a one-time dog sitting request, soon turned into a permanent request for 2 days a week. Even when I’m on a holiday and not abled to take Harrie along, I leave him there with peace of mind. I have never seen Harrie as at ease with anybody else, besides myself, than with Robert (and Peter). Of course it needed some time in the beginning, but Robert has always given Harrie as much time and space as he needed. My friends even don’t tend to believe me when I tell them that Harrie, who’s very focussed on me, would rather stay on the couch with Robert when I’m coming over to get him.
I’m extremely happy how much Harrie loves being there, being comfortable and making so much progress in his thrust towards other people. Robert and Peter are very social and welcoming guys, so they tend to have people come over very often. By doing so, Harrie is making big steps in connecting with (new) people, while Robert is always making sure Harrie’s comfortable as well. Both Winter and Snow, their own Samoyed dogs, are very welcoming and kind to the dogs that Robert sits as well - with anxious dogs as Harrie that’s extremely helpful as well.
Besides the above, Robert is very flexible and is always thinking along. Do I have to work overtime? Not a problem. Can I bring Harrie at 7 AM? Not a problem. Even now his dog Winter is pregnant and Harrie can’t come over for 2 months, he’s already made sure he can go to a neighbor friend of theirs.

I know Robert from my walks in the Rembrandtpark.
I immediately noticed how he is very patient with the dogs he is sitting, and is very adept in reading dog behaviour.
My rescue dog Rufo had some socialisation issues at first and I learned a lot from Roberts advice. Rufo quickly became one of Roberts weekly guests.They are truely his sugar daddies, giving him a lot of love, cuddles and play, but also correction and encouragement where needed. Snow and Winter are perfect hosts as well. Rufo considers all four of them close friends and he loves staying with them upto a point where he refuses to go home with me when I pick him up from a lengthy stay. And I don't mind because its such a relief knowing that Robert and Peter would take the right decisions in case of emergency.
In the park, Robert is rightfully considered one of the dog experts that many people turn to for advice. I frequently observed how he advices struggling new dog owners without any judgement. He delivers his message in a kind, understanding and non-confrontative way, so that the advice actually 'lands'.
I am so happy with having him, and Peter and the dogs, in Rufo's ( and mine) life.

We are regularly leaving our dog, Mara, at Robert’s and Peter’s place, which they help a lot with, we have nothing but good words to say and we have started doing this since our dog was a 11 months. Additionally we also got some tips which have improved some behavioural issues our dog had. There has been a period where we could not bring our dog in due to availability and we needed to look for a replacement to which we quickly realised that they are the gold standard for us in terms of taking care of our dog whilst being away.
