In order to help preservation breeders such as ourselves here is some help for new families who are prospective puppy owners. It is important to make sure what to look out for when speaking with breeders and other puppy sellers. We cherish our puppy owners and guide them as much as possible, here are some words from an admin of a dog support group in Amsterdam:-
“Fraudulent dog trade? Pay attention to your dog's microchip number.
A dog's greatest enemy is the dog trader. The trader who wants to make as much money as possible from the heads of countless mother dogs living in appalling conditions. And despite the efforts of many, an estimated thousands of puppies are still brought into the Netherlands every year.
Microchip code
Every country in the world has a unique microchip number. A puppy born in the Netherlands must be microchipped before the age of seven weeks. A pedigree dog is microchipped by an employee of the Dutch Kennel Club (Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied).
A non-pedigree dog is microchipped by a veterinarian. In both cases, the microchip begins with the country code for the Netherlands, 528.
The puppy is also issued a European pet passport containing this same microchip number.

Red flags
If you purchase a puppy with a chip starting with 348, the list of country codes will tell you that the puppy was chipped in Hungary.
If a passport issued in the Netherlands is included, something is wrong.
A very big red flag is a puppy with a chip starting with '9'. This is a free country code, and the puppy cannot be traced back to a specific country. A chip starting with '9' is a classic trader's code.
Advice
Stay away from puppies with chip numbers and passports that don't match, and from puppies with a chip starting with '9'.
Ask the seller to show the chip in the puppy. This can be easily done with a chip reader. If they say they are unable or unwilling to do so, leave and leave the puppy behind. However difficult this may be.
Realize, however, that you, as a prospective buyer, hold the real key to stopping the dog trade. This business has nothing to do with a love for dogs, but everything to do with making money. And as soon as they don't sell any puppies, or not enough, they look for businesses that does sell.”

‼️ BELANGRIJK BERICHT OVER MALAFIDE HONDENHANDEL
𝗔𝗹𝘀 𝗸𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗷𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗯 𝗷𝗶𝗷 𝗱𝗲 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝗲𝘇𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 🔑
